I’ve been sitting on the idea for a recipe for a new protection oil for some time now. My original is great and will still be offered, but as I moved forward I felt like I was missing something.. I wanted to amp it up! So, I sat down and thought about what it really meant to protect myself spiritually, and it brought me to all the moments in my life where I felt protected and safe with those god so graciously brought into my life. I thought about my family and friends who inspire me to have courage and how the feeling of being truly protected boiled down to one thing: love. My dad used to play “Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground” by Willie Nelson in the car when I was a kid, and the one lyric that always stuck with me was “For love’s the greatest healer to be found” I recalled all the moments in my life where I felt not just protected but truly grounded, safe, courageous, and loved whether that came from inside or from people who are truly reys of sunshine shedding light on and ushering in blessings & reys of moonlight comforting me in my darkest moments so I realized I was never truly alone. I wanted to recreate that feeling, that energy & scent is one of the strongest recallers of memory: so I did.
